Job location: Home or occasional visits/phone calls to Melbourne office
Hours: 5-10 hours/month
Description/responsibilities:
Develop well-written stories/interviews from Micah Challenge National campaign activities and achievements that have been identified by the National Campaigns coordinator. This might include some further research for details of story through liaison with MC National coordinators from around the world.
The stories will be disseminated in regular MC up-dates and the international and national MC websites and related organizations. The may also serve as background information/case studies for potential donors of MC National campaigns.
Essential: Experience in creative writing/communications
Policy/education resources assistant
Job location: Home or occasional visits/phone calls to Melbourne office
Hours: 5-10 hours/month
Description/ responsibilities:
• Assist National campaigns coordinator in processing of information
• Regular scanning of MDG related websites/circular emails and producing relevant data and lists that can be used by MC National campaigns and for website (incl research for prayer email)
• Regular scanning of MC National campaigns for educational resources to be disseminated more widely
• Regular scanning of Integral mission educational resources to up-date list for easy access of National campaigns
Essential:
• Good understanding of integral mission/international development and MDGs
• Ability to research independently and develop useful information from research
Spanish/English translators
Job location: Home or occasional visits/phone calls to Melbourne office
Hours: Anything from one 1-2 page document monthly to more comprehensive guidelines
Description/responsibilities: Translation of Spanish prayer and study resources into English
Essential:
• Native English speaker, very good Spanish
• Experience in translation desirable but not required
English/Spanish translators
